The Government has introduced the historic Tobacco and Vapes Bill into Parliament, which is one of the most significant public health interventions in a generation.
As the Prime Minister said in his Conservative Party Conference speech, this legislation will tackle the single biggest entirely preventable cause of ill health, disability and death and take powers to clamp down on the worrying rise in youth vaping, where one in five children have already tried vaping.
This Bill is a free vote for MPs and as such, I am very keen to hear from residents about their views on it. There are elements I strongly support, and some I have concerns about and am therefore, very keen to hear about your views on each clause of the Bill, which are detailed below each question.
