Keynote speech from Lord Deben, Chair of the UK's independent Climate Change Committee.
On Saturday 18th September 2021, I held the North Devon Climate Summit. From the importance of individual action, something touched on by every panel and by Lord Deben, to how we can empower children and adults all over the world through legislation to take meaningful action, we held some really insightful discussions.
After my opening welcome speech (available to watch here) we heard from Lord Deben, Chair of the UK's independent Climate Change Committee, as he delievered his keynote speech (available above). Following this, we heard from three panels in turn, with participants able to put whatever relevant questions they wanted to panellists.
